The two light rail stops that has been designed holds a distinct juxtaposition of the sharp, pointed and rigid to the organic, free-flowing and fluid nature of the two. With the initial design concept referencing the heritage and history of ANZAC Parade, drawing attention to the Moreton bay fig trees that were destroyed. The view of this concept was derived from Mokena Makeka's design philosophy of how heritage plays a significant role in his design. This generated the overarching idea of "nature wanting to be noticed and admired". To do so, this design focuses on celebrating shapes that come together to assemble the two light rail stations which accent strength and organic personality of nature whilst maintaining a classical style that was prevalent in Decimus Burton's designs.
